The Downtown Bikeways work group is still going strong and excited about upcoming projects! Our September meeting was productive, beginning with introductions and a conversation about what each of us has to offer the group. (Catch up on what we did in August here.) We then divided into our work groups and spent the majority of the time planning. Here's what each group discussed:

Join us this Saturday, September 15th for Open Streets West Broadway! Open Streets Minneapolis events are free events that temporarily close major thoroughfares to car traffic, opening them up for people walking, biking, rolling, and playing. Seeking folks to join the Our Streets Minneapolis Board of Directors

Our Streets Minneapolis is looking for applicants for its Board of Directors (see below for more information on what it means to be a Board member and the types of people and skills we are seeking). Joining the Board is a great way to connect to other civic-minded people who want to make a real difference in the city by advocating for safe and comfortable places to bike, walk, and roll.
